Galentine’s is an afternoon with a panel of six sweet romcom authors and a room full of book lovers talking about our favorite subject: books.
There will be paperbacks for sale, a book signing, meet and greets, BYO lunch, games, giveaways, and more!
Meet the Authors
Melanie Jacobson
Melanie Bennett Jacobson is an avid reader, amateur cook, and champion shopper. She consumes astonishing amounts of chocolate, chick flicks, and romance novels. She grew up in Louisiana and now lives in Southern California with her family, a miniature schnauzer, and a series of doomed houseplants. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and is the four-time Whitney Award-winning author of nineteen romantic comedies and several novellas.
Julie Christianson
Julie Christianson writes sweet romantic comedies—but only when she’s not reading them. A former English teacher and lapsed marathon runner, Julie lives in Southern California with her one husband, two kids, and three rescue dogs. She’s madly in love with all of them, but there’s not a lot of room on her couch.
Emma St. Clair
Emma St. Clair is a USA Today Bestselling Author who loves sassy heroines, witty banter, and love stories with heart and humor. Her books have sizzling chemistry while keeping the bedroom door closed. She has an MFA in Fiction and lives in Katy, Texas (go, Tigers!) with her hubby, five children, and Great Dane. Her favorite place to write is tapping on her phone while on the elliptical machine. No Emmas have been hurt in the writing of these novels. (Yet.)
Ellie Hall
Ellie Hall is a USA Today bestselling author. If only that meant she could wear a tiara and get away with it. 😉 She loves puppies, books, and the ocean. Writing sweet romance with lots of firsts and fizzy feels gives her joy. Oh, and chocolate chip cookies are her fave.
Ellie believes in dreaming big, working hard, and lazy Sunday afternoons spent with her family and dog in gratitude for God’s grace.
Becky Monson
Becky Monson is a mother of three and a wife to one but would ditch them all for Henry Cavill. She used to write at night but now she’s too dang tired, so she fits in writing between driving kids around to activities and running a household. With a talent for procrastination, Becky finds if she doesn’t watch herself, she can waste an entire afternoon binge-watching Netflix. Savannah Scott loves writing happily-ever-after romcoms with scenes where kisses make you melt. Her characters feel like long lost friends, and the settings make you want to take off on a road trip to visit.

10:00-11:30 Reader Mingle
Casual mingle for closed door rom-com readers hosted by Jammers Epilogue. Meet, talk, participate in a reel or two (if you want!) exchange ideas, hugs, or both. Location: Murray Center
11:30-1:30 Lunch with Authors
BYO Picnic! Grab a lunch from any of the nearby eateries (or bring your own) and come meet and chat with our featured authors before the main event. It’s a fun, casual environment and sometimes we take silly pictures. Located at the Murray Center, near the library. (This year, not only is it indoors, we’ve got table seating. So, not actually a picnic. But picnic is a fun word.) Location: Murray Center
2:00-4:00 Author Panel Signing
The Main Event!Take part in a Q & A, exciting games and giveaways to celebrate your love of books and romantic comedies while making lasting memories.
EVENING EVENT
6:00 Dinner with Authors (Hacienda on the Lake)
After the panel and book signing, the authors go out to dinner with any readers who care to join us. You order and pay for your own meal. There’s plenty of seating but we need to give the restaurant a head count for staffing. Location: Hacienda on the Lake in Mission Viejo

If you would like to order older books and/or get your books signed before the event, you can order them from each author. To keep it simple for the authors to manage their orders, each of them will handle their own preorders.
